Staff Pick

I carry one of these on a dedicated quick-draw which has an oval on one side. This is a really light system a guide friend showed me to quickly set up a 3-1 haul when your partner needs some help. Slap the ti-block on the load strand, trapped inside most any lightweight carabiner. Put your brake strand through the oval, which is on the opposite side of the draw. now you have 3-1 advantage. I also use this device in my glacier rescue kit.
