The Black Crows Draco Freebird is a freeride-focused touring ski that prioritizes downhill performance. At 110mm underfoot, it offers plenty of flotation for soft snow while remaining maneuverable enough for human-powered objectives. As the only twin-tip in Black Crows’ touring range, the Draco pairs double rocker for easy pivoting with traditional camber underfoot for support and edge hold. A relatively straight sidecut, firm flex, and progressive tip keep it stable at speed without feeling overly demanding in variable snow. At 1800g per ski in the 181.5cm length, the Draco favors the descent over ultralight efficiency, making it a strong choice for backcountry skiers who want a more substantial, playful ride.
