This is a great high elevation summer and fall sleeping bag. I push it into ski touring when overnight temps will be at least above 20 degrees. The bag is rated for 35. I boil a nalgene bottle of water for my feet and wear some clothes to bed. Boom, I just saved 2 lbs of sleeping bag material. The shoulders are a bit wider on this model which helps me change positions and sleep better. I've had this bag forever, it's quite durable. If you know the way of the boiling water bottle and sleep in a tent, try out a bag like this for colder temps like I do. It can work well in the summer and maybe be your only bag for everything you do. I have a $40 SOL brand bivy sack that goes over this sleeping bag to increase the warmth and keep the condensation off if I sleep outside. It's like layering your jackets. Instead of a huge one, take a few layers to have more options or loan a piece to your partner.
