The lightest and highest performing splitboard bindings in the world - made with incredible attention to detail and no compromises.

Spark Arc bindings have been improved in just about every way over the summer, and the Spark R&D Arc ST Pro Splitboard Bindings go even further in their quest for the lightest and most efficient splitboard connection possible. Spark started by initiating their "ST" (Smooth Touring) program on just about any connection with inherent friction, and using a fresh overmolding process proceeded to drastically improve both performance and durability. With the Pro Series bindings, they jumped at any opportunity to cut weight without sacrificing performance, adding carbon to the highbacks, hollowing out the pivot pins, and substituting alloy hardwear for stainless steel where possible. The Arc ST Pro is the softer flexing of the company's offerings, best for those who prefer a surfier, more forgiving ride.

The Arc ST Pro Splitboard Bindings feature all the same great assets as our standard Arc ST Bindings - ST Tech, T1 binding system, Tesla Snap Ramps, maximum baseplate cutouts, surfy Asym Highbacks, Pillow Line Straps with a flex window - but they are tuned up with premium materials and custom versions. Learn more about the Pro Series on the Pro Binding Tech page.

FEATURES

Tour Mode

Hollow Pivot Pins
Made with stainless steel and hollowed out to be 33% lighter than standard pins

Improved ST (Smooth Touring) Mode
Spark injection molds a proprietary thermoplastic over existing aluminum or steel parts in a process called "overmolding," reducing friction and improving durabillity.

ST (Smooth Touring) Whammy Bars
Overmolded plastic blend where the climbing wire meets the baseplate to eliminate stickiness. (Note: not backward compatible with previous Arc, Surge or other older models)

ST Touring Brackets
Overmolded with low-friction proprietary plastic over and through the bracket holes in the aluminum base - strong, smoother pivoting, and lasts 4 times longer than the old brass bushing.

*** ST Bindings are only compatible with ST Whammy Bars. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are not compatible with ST Whammy Bars and require a standard Whammy Bar.

*** ST Bindings are compatible with older Tesla Brackets with brass bushings. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are compatible with new ST Brackets.

Base Plate
  CNC Machined Baseplates
CNC machined baseplates remain solid for max stiffness and durability. All of the baseplate side windows have been partially filled to increase durability and strength

7075 Aluminum Heel Loops
7075 Aluminum heel loops are thinner and lighter than our standard heel loops while maintaining the required strength.

Straps

Pebax® Pillow Line Straps, Ladders and Adjusters
Pebax® is a plastic commonly used in high-end alpine touring ski boots, It is stiff, tough and 20% lighter than the standard material used.

Highbacks

*New Design* Carbon Reinforced Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks
The NEW Arc ST Pro Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback is made from carbon-reinforced nylon in a ratio designed for medium flex and a surfy feel. This material blend is more responsive, lighter, and stiffer than our standard glass-reinforced highbacks. The Asym Highbacks have been redesigned in 22/23 for improved ergonomics, mobility, and durability. All Rip ‘N’ Flip Highbacks incorporate a tool-free forward lean adjuster (FLAD) that easily toggles between tour and ride mode.

  • Flippin’ FLAD toggles between your forward lean angle and -13° touring position for easy transitions.
  • Lateral slots for our BD Touring Strap for greater edge control while skinning.
  • Tool free micro-adjustable from 0° to 22° for complete customization of your forward lean angle
  • Made with proprietary custom blended materials for improved strength and durability, while minimizing weight.

Custom Hardware

Weight savings add up by replacing stainless steel hardware with custom-made 7075-T6 aluminum hardware. Aluminum parts are 65% lighter than our standard stainless steel parts and are made with hex drives instead of phillips heads which are less likely to strip.

Rail System

Slide them on and snap the ramp down. Snap the ramp up and slide them off. The most functional way to attach your binding to your board in ride mode. Period. Spark R&D bindings are designed to work with all puck compatible splitboard models.

Touring Hardware

Tesla Snap Ramp
T1 System bindings slide sideways into the offset touring bracket and are locked into place with our snap ramp. No pins, no cables, no fiddle factor. Integrated Ibex crampon mounting claws on touring brackets make for quick and easy installation and removal.

T1 Heel Rest
The T1 Heel Rest catches the climbing wire in the 12° and 18° positions and is specifically designed to hold the T1 Step Locker in place.
