Our Take

The Further 25L hits a useful middle ground for day touring: enough room for avy gear, layers, food and water without stepping up to a bulky expedition-style pack. The contoured profile keeps the load close to your back, which matters when you're skinning, riding technical terrain or carrying a board or skis.

What makes it especially practical is the organization. A dedicated avalanche-tool pocket keeps rescue gear separate and accessible, while the helmet holder, goggle pocket, hydration sleeve and hip-belt pockets handle the smaller stuff that otherwise gets buried. It's a strong choice for riders who want a purpose-built backcountry pack without carrying more volume than they need.
