Yep, it's a brake. Compatible with 22 Designs Outlaw X NTN Bindings. Be smart and buy some brakes (or a leash) so your skis don't wind up just another tree in the woods or fish in the pond.  Oh, and make sure the brake is the same width or wider than the waist of your skis. Killin' it ma dude!
