The Edelweiss 8mm Accessory Cord is a durable, multipurpose polyamide cord for climbing, mountaineering, anchor systems, rescue applications, and general rigging where a strong accessory cord is called for.

A specific braid construction provides good abrasion resistance, while the 8 mm diameter delivers a 12.8 kN breaking strength. This 60-meter spool gives you plenty of cord for cutting cordelette, anchor material, prusik loops, and other application-specific lengths. Edelweiss certifies the 8 mm cord to UIAA and CE EN 564.
