In December 2025, we'll be releasing a new Hokkaido backcountry ski map product (physical printed map) - Daisetsuzan Backcountry. This large-format map will cover the entire Tokachi Range 十勝連峰, plus the northern end of the Daisetsuzan Mountains 大雪山系 (including Asahidake and Kurodake). Just like our Niseko Backcountry map, Daisetsuzan Backcountry will be printed in Japan on Japan-made waterproof and tear-resistant paper. With plenty of information about parking, skiing conditions, and area-specific notes, this 660mm by 965mm (26 inches by 38 inches) should be a good tool for planning for forays into the "Roof of Hokkaido", Daisetsuzan National Park.
