Bring your little rider into the action without clamping a child seat directly to your bike frame. The Shotgun Pro mounts between the headset and seatpost, keeping the frame untouched while positioning your child up front for the ride. Once the initial setup is complete, the quick-release system makes the seat fast to install or remove, and the included Pro Bars give smaller hands their own secure place to hold. Adjustable seat position, leg width and seven leg-length settings help the system grow with your child and adapt to a wide range of regular and electric mountain bikes.

Compatibility

• Front suspension is required, with the exception of suitable fat bikes

• Not compatible with quill stems

• Bikes with internal cable routing, Trek Knock Block or Scott Syncros headsets require the appropriate adapter

• Two Shotgun Pro headset spacers are included, allowing the mounting interface to be set up on two bikes

• Before riding, the child should be able to sit unaided, follow basic instructions and remain awake for the duration of the ride

Age & Fit Note: Kids Ride Shotgun lists the Shotgun Pro Combo for children 18 months–5 years. Their Pro seat sizing guidance is more conservative, recommending approximately 2–5 years and 27–60 lb (12–27 kg). Because fit and readiness vary by child, use the weight range and fit guidance as the primary reference rather than age alone.
