About the Salomon Alibi

 

The 2020 Salomon Alibi snowboard binding is an excellent choice for the demanding all mountain freestyle snowboarder, who wants high levels of response from their bindings, as well as extreme support to cushion their landings.

These bindings have enough suspension to handle charging steep sections, popping off side hits and airing over mounds or humps anywhere on the mountain.

The exclusive Alibi highback is an asymmetrical shape and is designed to be as responsive as possible for the rider. Providing support on the outside of the boot but avoiding any pressure points through its anatomical design, the Alibi is a perfect addition to a performance geared, responsive, all-mountain freestyle set up.

Utilising Salomon's Blaster technology, the Alibi has an All-Terrain freestyle joint between the heel pad and base plate which provides dynamic suspension, provides a smooth feel and increases the level of control between boot and board. This creates a highly responsive binding that is extremely cushioned and comfortable.

Salomon's most efficient dampening system is included, the Air Bed with a full dual-density EVA pad. This technology in the heel of the footbed helps reduce vibrations and absorb impact increasing overall comfort and control, making riding easier. A canted footbed helps promote a better stance and adds pop power and supreme edge control.

Keeping you locked in place is a 3D Asym Supreme ankle strap and a Locked-Up toe strap designed for a perfect fit and an ultimate lightweight yet durable hold. A speedy PowerGlide aluminium buckle ensures strapping and unstrapping is quicker than ever and MicroMax strap adjustments allow you to optimise the fit to your boot.

All of these features combine to create a no-fuss binding that allows the rider to charge around the mountain all day, hitting any freestyle feature they want, with maximum performance and zero discomfort.
