The Black Diamond Carbon Whippet Ski pole is the latest evolution of the legendary Whippet Ski pole. It is a two piece pole that features a removable steel pick. The pick offers extra traction on steep and high consequence terrain. With the ClickLock dial, the pick is released, and you can descend moderate slopes with a lightweight and rugged pole. The pole has a carbon fiber lower with an aluminum upper and upgraded FlickLock Pro adjustment, which is now lighter, stronger and easier to use.
